Joseph Eury Obituary
Joseph Eury, 35, of 5007 Bowen Drive, Shelby, died on February 4, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident. He was the son of James R. & Marie Putnam Eury of Shelby. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James & Josephine Eury, grandfather, Thomas H. Putnam; uncles Robert C. Putnam and Thomas Devaney Putnam. He is also survived by his sister, Amy Eury Freeman of Shelby; grandmother, Janice C. Putnam of Shelby; aunt, Carol McCraw of Shelby, aunts and uncles, Nancy & Dan Jolly of Shelby and Doris and James Swafford of Shelby; Thomas and Frieda Bumgardner of Florida, and Leonard and Delores Pennington of Indian Trail; special friend, Marsha Elledge of Boiling Springs and friend ; Harley Tessneer of Shelby. He is also survived by one niece, one nephew and a number of cousins. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Lloyd Swafford.
