To My Dad,

Geezz...What a whirlwind the past few months have been. I am content that you passed away in peace at my home.It was beautiful and I am at peace with it, I saw you see the light, that was something I will never forget. But I miss you, my rock. Please remember what we talked about. I went to visit you and everyone else that's in the ground today at holy souls...a very sad place for me. Your birthday is upon us in 1 month short of 93 years. I will have a party-don't worry. IF there is life after death you will be exactly where you want to be at the gambling halls, with friends and family. Tell everyone HI for me! I miss you dad all my love xoxoxox

To my dearest Pappy Joe, You came into my life when I became best friends with your beautiful Grandaughter at age 10. Since then, my life had changed because I had a 3rd Pappy. You have made a huge impact on my life and I will never forget the memories we share. The best is you catching the Garter on my wedding day <3 I had the honor to carry you to your resting place, an experience I will never forget. Only for you my Pappy Joe, only for you! I love you and you will truly be missed R.I.P- Gone--But Never Forgotten

My Pappy Joe had been in my life since day one and I have been in his for a life time. We loved every minute together and always had fun. I will always remember tap dancing in my kitchen, singing old songs, cooking dinner, he was always at all of my shows or basketball games, all the lucky numbers I use to give him, and so much more. He was and is such a big part of my life and I'll never forget him. I will wear his rings near my heart and pass them all to my children someday. He loved my mom and I, and would do anything for us. I will miss taking him out to lunch/dinner, while he was at the nursing home. I was so glad to have been with him on his last days at my moms. He always wanted us around him. I'm thankful for all of my family from Las Vegas that came to see him and spent some time with Pappy Joe a few months ago it really did mean a lot to him. I'm also thankful that he really made a big impact on my friends who looked at him as their Pappy Joe. I would like to thank them for being all pallbearers today, he would have loved it. I know my Pappy Joe is very proud of me and is watching over me in my life and I will live each day for him as he would have wanted me to. I love and miss you .. you are my one and only Pappy Joe.

Love your favorite Grandaughter

"My Uncle Joe"

I want to tell you
About a man I know
Yes I want to tell you
About my Uncle Joe

Don't know a lot
But I learned enough
About a man who lived
Through rough and tough

Came up through times
That were mean and lean
And knew how to spot
A scam or a scheme

In the eyes of a woman
He had it all
Thin,dark and handsome
And six feet tall!

"Mr. Joe Franchina"
A gentleman and scholar
Always dressed to the hilt
Right up to the collar

Yes he was bred
Proper and fine
And I am proud to say
He was an uncle of mine

His nephew,
Billy Nardozzi

I am saddened to hear of the passing away of Joe. He was a customer at our pharmacy and I loved seeing him when he came in. I was always happy when I had the time to talk to him about his Vegas days and how "Hollywood" wanted him. What a beautiful man and class act he was to the end! We will miss him. God Bless his family and cherish all the memories that you had with him. Now he is finally at peace.
