Joe,

Was thinking of you this week. 14 years and you´re still in the lead. Lots of things have changed in over a decade , but one thing will never be forgotten with so many! Live on my friend as we always have you by our side.

Hey Joe
Living down the cape now in Falmouth and Florida some of the year. Finally a snow bird! Was thinking of you when I went by the old Jake´s Tap on 28 in East Falmouth, ( now a Dunkin´ Donuts). I remember that day we watched about three football games with Neil & Kinky (Mike Duggan) there. Ended up at the VFW post after spending all our $. You were dancing & doing flips on the dance floor entertaining the Vets. What a day that was!

Things down here got very crazy last 4 years as they opened the US boarders and let in about 11million aliens, but hope is on the way as Trump won re-election again and hopefully will put the country back on track.

I´m 70 yrs old now Joe, can you believe that? Miss you and think of you often.

This year was a good one uncle Joe. I became a United States wilderness forest ranger for the forest service. Something I´ve always wanted to do but had lots of trouble in the way. The troubles finally cleared and I saw a path I needed to follow. I think about you often how happy you made me and my dad just with a quick smile. We got our nicnames or trail names as we call them at the end of the year and mine was beaver! Can you believe that. It made me as proud as can be a lots changing down here I turned 30 years old this year. Not a day goes by I don´t miss you. Hope you can watch the bruins up there! Your biggest fan - Luke

Your Positive Energy still surrounds us my Beautiful friend Joe!! You are in our conversations & thoughts . You are Loved.

Beaver,

Hard to believe today is your birthday. Saw Julia last week and she's a wonderful 8 year old! All she talked about was seeing the Chocolate Plant :) . Angie & Colleen all stopped by. So ~~~~ life is funny and usually a day doesn't go by that I don't think of the good times we had growing up, living in Alston, summers on the cape, and Heath Street. All was good and remember most of it vividly . The six years that have gone by have been difficult for many, and hope you are doing well in your new home.

Happy Birthday!

Hank

Hello Joe
The world is changing down here, some things good some things hard. I will always remember our talk and I will continue to look for the positive in life and the people around me. The kids are growing and making their own way in the world, a very different world than yours and mine, but I'm confident they will figure it out. Keep shining your light down upon us all. I know your guiding the way.

Love you
Shaker

Joe, a young boys hero, a fathers best friend, a man who could light up my day with just the sound of his voice. call him what you want but to me he was family, to me he was a second father and a mentor. I grew up seeing Joe on the beaches of cape cod doing the things he loved, fishing, boating, and being with my dad. Whenever they were together i would listen close for the stories and jokes, so i could tell my friends how cool my uncle Joe was. And the stories that they told! climbing the green monster, living on heath street, and growing up together it never got old. And as i got older Joe ceased to change, always the calm and loving friend my family knew. All the way until the end when i put a layer of earth over his casket. A mentor, a father, a hero, that's my Joe, that's who I'll remember in the end.
p.s. i wont forget my promise i love you Joe, may you rest in peace.

My Dear Friend Harriet,

I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved son. My heartfelt condolences are with you and your family. I can still hear your proud voice whenever you spoke of your children and the way you would laugh and smile when telling me the updates. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I wish you much comfort in the fond and happy memories you have of your beloved son.

Joe was a true friend and great human bean, so full of life and fun to be around. I always looked forward to seeing him and his family during the holidays, every year. Seems like yesterday we were having a beer and cigar and trying to figure out Mass. politics one more time? His wonderful personality could light up any room he walked in to with his huge smile and great sense of humor. You always knew when Joe arrived!
You will be truly missed, my friend by all. Brookline just wont be the same without you!!
Our thoughts and prayers to your wonderful children and family.
