Joseph H. Fritz

Joseph H. Fritz, of Philadelphia, passed away into God's loving care on Saturday, September 15, 2018. He was 48 years old. "Joe", as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, was born on June 6, 1970 to the late William E. Fritz, Jr. and Maryanne McCartney. He was a graduate from St. Gabriel's High School in Philadelphia and later worked as a chef. Joe enjoyed sports, cooking, and spending time with his family. Joe is survived by his four loving children; Megan C. Fritz (Angelica), Montana C. Fritz (Tori), Shannon E. Fritz, and Joseph P. Fritz "Joe". He is also survived by his siblings, William H. Fritz, Christina M. Macgregor-Fritz, Jennifer Lynn Benson-Nicastro, and Joseph W. Benson, III as well as many friends, nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his sister, Pamela Fritz. Relatives and friends are invited to Joe's Life Celebration on Saturday, September 22,2018 at John F. Givnish of Academy Road, 10975 Academy Rd. Phila., PA 19154 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. followed by his funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's name may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org. Family services are entrusted under the care of John F. Givnish of Academy Rd. 215-281-0100.
