Hello and thank you all for the many, many email and paper cards. The kind tributes to Joe mean so very, very much to me and our family. He had a good life with many, many accomplishments beyond his dreams -likely the most important was his family and he loved his work. He suffered much as well. His body was recently described by a Dr. as a "train wreck'. In kindness, it was true. He died suddenly of a brain bleed from a fall. He is finally free from unrelenting pain and fear. His funeral service was just a beautiful tribute with children and friends speaking and nearly all of the congregation taking communion which was so important to Joe. Thank you all- dear friends and family. With love Cynthia

Cindy and Family:

Cindy and I were both shocked and saddened to read of Joe's passing. As longtime neighbors on Curtis Road, we considered your family the "Father Knows Best" Anderson family of North Deering. I also enjoyed working with Joe for over 25 years at Unum. He was a well- respected professional.

Our condolences to you and your family at this difficult time. May he rest in peace with the Lord.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Fullertons' passing. Having grown up next door some of my best childhood memories include the Fullertons. We had such wonderful days as children and young adults. I still remember visiting on Sebago with our boat when I was living on the lake. My thoughts and love are with all of you.

Hi Cindy, So many memories over 56 years since we were student nurses at MMC. It has always been great to see you and Joe. He always had a wry sense of humor. Remember one great visit you both had with us at our home in Greenville. You have been such support to your whole family through the years.
Pete and I are thinking of you and will see you on our way home in May.

My Uncle Joe and Aunt Cynthia took my brother, Jeff, and me in when I was 8 years old. I will never forget the time I spent with them, Michael, and James, as my primary family. It brings me joy even now to think about it. I love you all and hold you in my heart. (Thank you for the beautiful memorial and the lovely photo gallery posted here.)

I've known Joe for 45 years and, although there were breaks in the frequency with which we saw each other, whenever we rencountered we would seem to take up where the conversation last ended. He was always cheerful, upbeat, and positive in his outlook. He will be missed. My condolences to Cindy, Mike, Cheryl, and all of his family and friends at this sad time.

I always smiled when I saw Joe. In spite of all his ailments he never complained and was optimistic about life.
