Just wishing the family peace and comfort in this hour. Mr. Gaines went to school with my dad and mom and aunts and uncles.He was a very dear friend to them until now. I have the pleasure of knowing his daughters and son and I have love for them and wishing that they have Peace and the comfort of God's loving arms in this hour. I'll be praying for you all.

Not surprised Joe wound up with a great loving Family. As underclassmen, we were selective in choosing role models. Joe was one of the good guys, a straight shooter, well respected.
