Dear Dodo, Joanne, Darlene, Junior, Christine and Shannon and family;

It is with a heavy heart that I learned yesterday of your dad's passing; I cannot imagine the depth of your sorrow.

It is times like this when you realize how important it is to cherish the ones that you love and take nothing for granted. Unfortunately it has been years since seeing your dad; he was often in my thoughts and some great memories having him and your mom as my neighbors for so many years on Valiquette, it was never the same in that fourplex after your mom's passing and your dad moving. I miss those days immensely, your parents were a huge part of my life and were always there when needed for their memory will always be with me.

I wish I could find the words to comfort and sustain you in your grief, but I know there are none that will take away any pain you are all feeling. Although words seem futile now in the midst of your sorrow, they are all I have to give you. Please accept these written words as warm hugs to wrap yourself in, as Joe was loved by many and will truly be missed.

Kayla kindly told me when Joey passed away and Joanna told me about his obit coming in on Saturday. I thank you both very much for letting me know. and am very sorry for your loss. I grew up next door to Joey's parents and remember him visiting and always taking the time to say Hi and small chat with the kid next door. I have very fond memories of the Geraldi and Costello families and am very sorry to hear of their loss. They were a group of really nice people.
