Peacefully after a lengthy illness at Creekway Village, Burlington, Ontario. Born in Vibank Saskatchewan to Frederick Heintz and Mary [nee Lockert.] Beloved husband of Mary [Mae] Eve Heintz [nee Fettig] for 69 years. Loving father to Frederick Martin and his wife Donna, Cecilia Frances Jones and Ruth Ann Brown and her husband Max. Grandfather to Nadine [Patrick] Melanie [Robert] Jennifer [Daniel], Christopher [Joanna] and Colin, Jessica and Justine. Great- grandfather to Oliver, Hillary, Sebastian, William, Scarlett and Marcus, Emma and Aidan. Predeceased by dear sister Theresa . Sorely missed by many nephews and nieces in Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Educated by the Ursuline nuns in Vibank followed by service in the RCAF in Comox BC before moving to Ontario where he pursued a successful career in finance. Heartfelt thanks from the family go to the resident care staff of Creekway Village and to the private duty staff Barb, Heidi, Taryn, Lee and Joan. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Raphael's Catholic Church, 4072 New Street, Burlington on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception at the Sly Fox Pub across from the church.
