Joseph T. Hernandez, age 69, of Tinley Park, IL, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife: Darlene Jean, children; Theodore (Dina) Hernandez and Laura (Richard) Sprague. Grandchildren; Nickolas and Alex Hernandez, Jordan and Olivia Sprague. Sisters; Sara (Mike) Connelly, Rebecca Camarena and brothers; Roger (Midge) Casillas, Ronald Casillas and Frank (Wendy) Casillas. Numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Mabel Gonzalez, sister, Marie "Bubbles" Gonzalez and brother, Arthur Casillas. A Memorial service will be held Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2 - 8 PM at the funeral home. Joseph retired after over 40 years of service as a Chicago Cab Driver. He was also an avid bowler. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association in his memory would be appreciated. 219-836-5000.

Ted, you will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing you. You were a wonderful father to my BFF and a loving grandfather to her children.
