Joseph Leslie Hoggard

I met Joe and his brother Jerry, when I was 4 years old. Joe was about 17 then. He worked at his Dad's Holiday Inn..this was before it became the lovely Ships Cabin. My dad was good friends with Joe's dad Les and would take me there so many times.
Joe would give me soda's and french fries and I would play the shuffleboard game.

Years later Joe gave me my first real job. I was 17 and worked as a "relish girl" for a bit then went on to work in the kitchen. When I turned 18 Joe gave me a job as waitress. We all had so much fun, by that I mean the staff.

I wish I had a better friendship with Joe over the years, he had his demons.
But I'll never forget him.
