Still thought of and missed.

We're sorry to hear of your loss. Though we hadn't seen him for years, we loved him dearly. He was a tribute to his family and especially his Dad whom we knew and loved so much. He was truly a chip off the old block.

Still miss my first mentor in the US. Just realized that he rested with the Lord on my birthday. Wish him well in Heaven place and hope Paulette is doing well. Kui Shin Voo

I still think of Joe periodically so he is not forgotten. I hope Paulette is doing well.

I miss Joe (and Paulette). One of the fond memories I have is of their wedding. My toddler son went to the bride and asked her to cut the cake. Both were and are great individuals. Joe left us too soon. Rest in peace, Joe.

So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was a classmate of mine at St. Stephen's School in Saginaw, MI.

I just found out from Marsha of Joe's passing. I can't express how shocked and sorry I am. I was great friends with Marsha throughout elementary school at Cabrini in Allen Park. I was over at her house more than my own. I had a secret crush on Joe, he was soo cute! I loved all the Kamalay family, they were so easy to be around. Please accept my thoughts and prayers for his loved ones.

Sorry to hear my former boss passing. I could not believe when I did a google search and just found out about it. He is a very nice boss and I shall miss him a very long time. Rest in Peace Joe, my first boss in the US.

So sad to hear of Joe's passing. The Kamalays were such centerpieces of my timeline Detroit 1969-1978. First Marsha with the Honor's House crew, then Joe with Mandala and then Ray as a housemate playing his guitar and commuting to Athens, OH to court the lovely Lorraine. Unique stellar people. I kept in touch with Joe in California when we both lived there and heard many a tale about genetic sequencing. Great storytellers the Kamalays, chock full of Charisma. We just lost a "wizard". I'm so sorry for your loss. I took classes that Joe taught at OSU and he was on my graduate committee. He was a wonderful teacher and a good friend.
