8/24/10 - I heard today that Joe had died. He was a good man who clung to the Lord at the end of his days. I rejoice in the thought Joe is in the presence of our Savior now and forever. Hallelujah! I remember meeting Joe years ago when we both worked for AT&T. He had long white-blonde hair - and really stood out. A few years later I got to know Joe better as a member of the Kings of Swing Big Band. When Joe became sick his faith was revealed and he was a blessing to many. To God be the Glory!

As you know dad... love is not dictated by proximity... and in heaven there is no cancer. Thank you for the 13-14 years I did get dad, and with the family I never knew I had!

Love your son,
Mark Lewis

Now you are my angel, Joe! I enjoyed that nickname you gave me after I gave you a lift on your way to a play after your car had broken down on the side of the road! I'll miss you...
