Joseph Carroll Lindsay III

My heartfelt condolences to Joe's family. I worked with Joe for a few years as his technical team leader during his stint in security. Joe was one of the best software engineers I have ever worked with, but most important an excellent person.

I was saddened immensely when I heard of Joe's passing. But let me repeat a quote I found at this site:

"May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived."

To Joe's family and friends. I worked with Joe remotely from IBM Poughkeepsie. I enjoyed meeting him even if it was over the networks. He was pleasant and a quick learner and soon became one of our valuable developers. The only thing faster than the way Joe learned was the way Joe talked. :-). Over the phones, I must admit I had to ask him to slow down a bit while reviewing his code. Some of us could not read as fast as he spoke. :-).
Again, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Joe was a very very kind man and a good person.
