Lisa and family, sorry for your loss. Words can't express the lonliness one feels with the loss of a parent, grandparent. Know that God is holding you close, loving you and your dad. Praying for you.

I was Mt. Lebanon student (Class of '88) when Mr. Mascetta was principal. Instead of sitting through study halls, I volunteered my time in his office. I helped his secretary with any clerical work she could find for me - stuffing envelopes, filing folders..you name it. During that time, I got to know our Principal. He was kind and generous, strict yet fair, and always well-respected. My condolences to your family. Rest in peace, Mr. Mascetta.

Thoughts and prayers to the Mascetta family. When I think of Mr. Mascetta, a smile comes across my face and fond memories fill my mind. He always knew the right things to say, whether you liked it or not. He was a great man and leader while I was at Lebo. 84-88.

Dear Mrs. Mascetta, Lisa & the family,
There is a saying that goes something like ... " God gifts us with many talents and what we do with them is our gift to God! " Mr. Masscetta was such a talented man! I had the privilege of knowing him for a number of years. He definitely used all of those talents to make life better and special for all whom he met. He took a huge gift back to God when he entered Heaven on Saturday.
I marveled at all of his accomplishments as they are listed in this obituary! When I read this news I thought how fitting it is that he will be buried during Catholic Schools Week! I couldn't help but think of this quiet man, who achieved so many honors in his lifetime, sitting patiently in our gym judging Lisa'a students Science Fair Projects year after year! I will always remember him as a man of great faith who loved his family. He will always be with you. May God Bless each of you and may His grace shine down upon you during this special time.

Dear Jean and girls,
I don't know if you remember me. I was Terri Pajak the lab assistant in the 70's. Joe was my first full time boss. He was a good boss - a good man. May God receive him in His arms and grant you peace in that knowledge. He'll always live in the hearts of those who loved him.
Wishing you God' blessings,
Terri
