Big joe as we knew him when we were young was always one of my favorite people . He had that great smile and laugh. One of my oldest memories is of him making uturns in Vancouver Canada with my dad panicking that we would all be arrested and jailed in Canada, and him just smiling and doing it anyway. I can see that smile now. Big joe will live on in our memories. Rip sir!

'Thanks for the memories',Dad-'You did it your way'. A sighn in your office that you had for many years read 'As a man lives, So is his heart.' says it all

My condolences go out to Joe Jr. and his sister. My hopes are that they commemorate the long and fulfilling life that Mr. Massimino lived, and remember that he is looking down on all of us with God's Grace.

We will remember Joe as a kind man and great friend. After moving to Texas we could count on Joe to send smoked salmon back to Texas with us every time we visited Seattle. With the help of Joe, I, John C. Hoberg, was promoted to the rank of full Colonel in the Army. You will be missed but we are happy you are finally reunited with Patty and Bette.
