I do not know Joe personally, but his brother Jim (who I adore) and the entire Waquiot crew is friends with my son Alex. I pray that you all find some sort of peace knowing that he is in a place far more beautiful then we can ever imagine. And sometimes if you listen very closely you can hear the rustle of wings and know that he is right beside you..

Sincere Condolences

Joe was my best friend and work partner for over 2 years. We spent 40 hours a week in the same truck. All week slanging hay and "alfalfies" as he called them. I couldn't have asked for a better worker and certainly won't find a better one, that I'm sure of. There was never a shortage of conversations and inside jokes in that truck, always making each other laugh. Thoes are the times I'll cherish the good times at SMFG sweating our butts off all summer and freezing all winter with his window stuck down! He's a good guy with a good soul. He basically forced himself into my house to meet my new born son and give him his first red Sox jersey. Joe confided in me he knew everything about me and I him. We bonded in that way. I'll miss you joe but you'll always be with me every time I'm in a barn or hayloft I'll be thinking of you. Love you brother

My sincerest condolences to Joe's family and friends. May the wonderful memories of him that you share be a source of comfort and strength. You have already started the healing process by sharing his story, we lost one of our nieces to her addiction in Apr. 2015, so we feel your pain. I did not know him personally, but from all you have shared he was a vibrant, loving human being and may his story help save others from the horrors of addiction. May God wrap all of you in his loving embrace of comfort and strength.
