As I sit here in Arizona, reading all the heartwarming comments about your dad, they only confirm what I always remember about him. He had a kindness that showed in his gentle silence. His legacy will live on forever in his beautiful family. May he rest in peace. xo Emily McGartland Gesuale

I will never forget what a gentle and loving uncle he was. I do think his favorite word was beautiful. I can remember having so much fun when we came down to visit. He will never be forgotten. He gave so much love to everyone and his love will live on forever.

Germaine and family, Your parents took Germaine, Kathy B. and me to visit Janie Crooks for a weekend after her family moved to Clarion. They got us our own motel room and we had such a wonderful time with Janie and her family and friends. It was many many years ago, but it has always been a great memory for me, especially because of your parent's generosity to us young teenage girls. I always felt welcomed in your home on Mifflin and had a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for your father. May he rest in peace.
May wonderful memories of him help to sustain you at this difficult time.
God bless you.

Doc (Dad), I'm so sorry I can't be there to offer the support you and the rest of the family deserve. I'll always cherish my memories of Pop-Pop and that very special place we all know as Mifflin Ave. I love you.

Josie and family, Our sincere sympathy on the loss of your dear dad. I first met him at age 17 when you took me to Mifflin Avenue for dinner. Then you took me back at Christmas to see the tallest tree I've ever seen in a home. I always enjoyed visiting with him; how blessed you were to have him to age 95. There's no doubt that you have a lifetime of precious memories to cherish and give you comfort. God's peace.

Dear Candy, Germaine, Richard and Family,
Very sorry to hear about your dad's passing. We remember him as a very stately and pleasant gentleman. We were all in wonderment seeing that large blended family move in to our neighborhood so many years ago and we have kind thoughts and memories of you.
