What a beautiful obituary and final tribute to Joe. He was such a good man. The first time I met him he felt like family. I used to like our phone conversations before I retired - he'd sometimes call me at work and we'd problem solve - or complain about _ _ _ _ _ At Malissa's wedding in Vegas the hotel ran out of rooms and I was put in a conference room on a murphy bed. Joe would have none of that! Oh my goodness did he spring into action, as he always did to take care of his friends and family. Also, at the wedding I saw him dance, and remember the way he looked at Gloria. Oh how he loved Gloria. We all do, but Joe... he adored her. We were so saddened by Joe's death. He was so good to us and we loved hearing stories of old Eureka. My husband lived here as a boy and both of them recalled places and people of way back when.
He was the best landlord ever and a great friend and we considered him and his family part of our family too. Love to the whole family!

We are so very sorry to learn of your father's passing. It's so hard to say goodbye to someone so dear and so loved, who has been the rock of your family. Sending our deepest sympathies to you and your entire family.

Dad, I've reached back in my memories and pulled this special one off the shelf about a little girl and her father. I would spend weekends with my dad and loved to blow bubbles in his backyard. We would watch them float up,up and away. Sometimes popping before they were out of sight. At the end of the weekend I would go home but would talk to him on the phone during the week. One evening Dad told me that a bubble had landed on the moon and it was one of mine. I felt so special. Now I'm a grown woman and I don't blow bubbles anymore and know they don't go very far up in the sky. Dad what I wouldn't do to blow bubbles with you again. However everynight I blow a kiss to you in hopes that it tenderly lands on your cheek. Thanks for making me believe. Love,Sherri

I was so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I remember him coming in to Malissa's workplace while Gloria was waiting for Malissa to finish with my nails. I have had Malissa as my Nail Tech for 16 years now and met Joe a few times. He was always in a good mood and Gloria was always so happy, I know he will be sorely missed. Our prayers are with your whole family.

We are were saddned to learn of Joe's passing. Our sympathy and prayers go to the entire Mori family. Edythe and I both grew up with Joe and graduated from EHS the same year. We always looked forward to seeing him at our class reunions.
