Joseph Emory Peery Sr.

From the time I was reaching up over the counter at "Snappy's" for a gumball or for a pickled egg, I can remember the smile on my grandad's face. He was alway's proud of us grandkids. He would say " I have the most handsome grandkids, and Midge and I love all of you." I am so proud of all of his accomplishments , and I have always looked up to him. Joe & Mildred were also friends of my grandparents, Harry "Bud" & Hazel Hall. (Hazel was Sid Monk's sister.) I can remember being told stories of "back in the day" from my grandparents that included both Joe & Mildred. They were such wonderful, kind people. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you in this difficult time.

So sorry to read this about Joe,Joe and Midge were mom and dad best friends,many many nights at the bridge table,or him and dad just talking about the past.He was a remarkable man.
