From the time I was reaching up over the counter at "Snappy's" for a gumball or for a pickled egg, I can remember the smile on my grandad's face. He was alway's proud of us grandkids. He would say " I have the most handsome grandkids, and Midge and I love all of you." I am so proud of all of his accomplishments , and I have always looked up to him. With dearest Love Grandaddy Longleggs, Your grandaughter,
Rachel

Joe & Mildred were also friends of my grandparents, Harry "Bud" & Hazel Hall. (Hazel was Sid Monk's sister.) I can remember being told stories of "back in the day" from my grandparents that included both Joe & Mildred. They were such wonderful, kind people. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you in this difficult time.
