I have fond memories of the Peet family at Canfield High School. Joe was always kind to everyone he knew. My thoughts and prayers are with the Peet Family, especially his parents, wife, and siblings! I pray this sad time will be intermittently filled with wonderful treasured memories that will fill your heart and bring a smile capturing a life well lived!

I was in my 2nd year of youth wrestling at Canfield the year Joe won the State Championship. I remember him always taking time with the younger guys during open mat, and being a brotherly figure in the room. He was a great mentor, humble, and tough as nails. Joe was who you wanted to be if you were a kid of my era. May his spirit and soul continue to live on through all of his loved ones.

I always looked forward to visiting with Joe. It was great getting his advice and just talking. I have be been thinking about him and I will miss him.
