Joseph Piech Obituary
He graduated from Mosinee High School in Mosinee, Wisconsin, in 1985. Joseph went on to earn degrees in Business and Machining from McHenry Community College in Crystal Lake, Illinois, completing his studies in 1990.
Joseph shared his life with his wife, Julie Piech. He was a devoted father to his son John Piech and stepfather to Katelyn Aguilar (Salvador) and Dylan Schulfer (Jayda). And granddaughter Lydia Aguilar.
He is also remembered by his sister Jeanette Hardin (Brian), brothers Leon Piech (Victoria) and Lawrence Piech; nieces and nephews Andrew Hardin of Madison, WI; Kyle Hardin of Mosinee, WI; Emily Hardin of Milwaukee, WI; Nathan Hardin of Mosinee, WI; Brandi Piech of Wausau, WI; Matthew Piech of Mosinee, WI; and Richard Lowe of Mosinee, WI. Extended family of in laws - Laura (Tom) Jungwirth, Paul (Cindy) Piotrowski, Valerie (David) Hedquist, all of Stevens Point and Jennifer Tepp Hartland WI.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Joseph T. Piech Sr. and Dorothy (Slivicki) Piech; his father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Mary Piotrowski; as well as his grandparents Leon and Valeria (Duplaga) Piech and Peter and Johanna (Landowski) Slivicki. He was also predeceased by numerous aunts and uncles who were part of the extended family that shaped his early years.
In his younger days, Joe found joy in traveling to Hawaii with friends-memories he held dear throughout his life. A loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers, he also enjoyed watching NASCAR races. His love for community shone through during visits to church picnics, local festivals, and craft shows-gatherings that brought him happiness and connection.
A memorial will be held at a later date in Wisconsin to honor Joseph's life among family and friends.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
