JOSEPH D.
Age 82, of Hermitage, PA formerly of Chalfant Boro, PA and Englewood, FL passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Beloved husband of Mary Jane George Polesnak for 63 years. Joe and Jane were long time summer campers at Slippery Rock Campground. Loving father of David (Rosemary) of Monroeville, PA and Paul (Patricia) of Hermitage, PA; grandfather of Brian (Rachel), Allison, Peter and Paige Polesnak; and great- grandfather of Eloise Polesnak; brother of Stephen, Richard and the late Lawrence Polesnak. Arrangements by JOHN FLYNN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 2630 East State St., Hermitage, PA 16148. Visitation Sunday, May 20, 2018 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in Notre Dame Church with the Very Rev. Richard J. Allen as celebrant. Burial in Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Regional Hospice or Mercer County Veterans. Friends may sign guest book at

Deepest sympathy. My late father, George Rudolph, worked at US Steel with Mr. Polesnak and spoke of him over the years, as a good friend and work colleague.
