I am sorry that this is so late but I want to express my sympathy over Joe´s passing. I believe he was a classmate of mine at the Defense Information School at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis when we were in the Army in 1970. I remember his clear `announcer´s´ voice and always felt that he would end up in news broadcasting or some closely related field. Joe was a good fellow at DINFOS and was well-liked and respected by all of us, his classmates. I hope he enjoyed a fruitful and successful life after we graduated and went our separate ways. Again, my sorrow to hear of his passing. God bless.

My heart breaks for you all. I hope the happy memories of the past will ease some of your pain. I wish I could be at the memorial but I´m out of state right now. I´ll be thinking of you all and hopefully we can get together soon.
