Tony I miss you so very much. You have always gone to bat for me when most needed and your warmth and caring ways will be cherished for the rest of my life. I feel so blessed to have met you and had you in my life for the past ten years. My sincere condolences to your immediate family and coworkers. I don't think it has really sunk in that you won't be driving up to Graham Cemetry anymore and tell me your funny stories. Nothing will ever be the same. Heaven has gained through our loss. Rest in peace Tony.

With love

Driving past the funeral home will not be the same because if he was outside he would always smiling and waving to everyone that drove by. I truely admired Tony. I will miss him very much. I had the privilege of helping to care for Mr. Preddy during an admission to Cardiology at UVa this past year. All the doctors and students on his team loved to visit him for his wonderful stories and terrific sense of humor. I had never met a patient who generated more phonecalls and visits from concerned friends and family. He loved his community and was obviously well-loved back.

Tony will be missed by myself as he was always calling me the "mayor of gordonsville" as this was his standing joke for me. He was as good a person as was the rest of his family. He will be really missed. Love to his family at this time

Tony touched the lives of so many people in his walk through life, he will be truly missed. He had the compassion and understanding to help those in need, in their most difficult times in life. I never saw Tony that he didn't ask about Magen, "How is my girl doing" was always his first question. Tony was a good and caring man and will be missed by many in our communities. May the family find strength that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many. Heaven has received another angel to watch over us.

TONY WAS ALWAYS A GOOD FRIEND TO ME. I KNEW TONY FROM TIME I WAS ASSIGNED TO ORANGE COUNTY AS A TROOPER IN THE SIXTIES. HE WAS ALWAYS THE GENTLEMEN OF THE HOUR, A GREAT FRIEND AND I ADMIRED HIM.

November 29, 2005

What can we say about Tony? He was a "man for all people", such a great guy and a friend to all. He was Vintons best friend and like a brother to him.We were always invited to share a meal at his home and he was the perfect host ( and a mighty good cook too!) We will never forget him and will miss him more than we can say. We offer our deepest sympathy to his family...and to his beloved dogs, Nic and Scarlette. Nic will be watching for Tony to come through the door for many months to come. God-speed Tony....you deserve your rest and your peace.

Tony, will be greatly missed by all. He spent his entire life helping and taking care of others before looking after himself. I never once heard him complain.

I will sadly miss stopping by and just seeing his bright smile and him saying "What's You Know".

Tony was the best friend I had and was what I considered to be my second father. I could always count on him to listen to me and to make me laugh. He had the best attitude and outlook on life (even in the face of tragedy) of anyone I've ever known, other than his wife, Judy. He will be with me always.

The news of Tony's death came as a shock to me this morning. Tony helped me so much during my father's death years ago and I've seen him whenever I've had to be at family nights. He's the icon for Preddy's Funeral Home. I will sorely miss him and his smile, his compassion and his willingness to help during very sad times. I would like to also express my condolences to his co-workers; I know this has to be very hard for you.
