Uncle Pepe,
I have always enjoyed our private messages we sent one another just to check in and give an update about our health and lives. You never made it to the farm in Alabama like we discussed. I know you very much wanted to be one with the land again, growing your favorite fruits and vegetables.
Time got away from us and we both lost touch as both our health declined. I have missed out. I am sorry. Thank you for coming to visit me with Auntie Nene when I lived in Fernley, Nevada. Thank you for encouraging my move and purchase of the farm.
I will be forever grateful for your kindness when Papa died. Thank you for always remembering to message me just to say "hi". I will never forget how insulted you were when the City of Salinas required you retake basic Algebra again. But you showed them! Not only did you take the course, you led the students along side of you to perceiver and do their best!
You were always an encourager! I will forever love you and remember you for the many ways of kindness you showed me when I became Father-less. I respected you then. I respect you now Uncle!
I love you!
Rhodora

Thank you Pa. Sorry I didn't do what I promised Ma to take care of you. But what is done is done. You gave everything you had for us. Rest in peace.
