Mr. Joseph N. Redondo

Entered into eternal rest on Wednesday morning, May 2, 2012 surrounded by his family , Mr. Joseph N. Redondo, 90 , widow of Rose Marie Cinquegrani Redondo. Residence North Charleston, SC , formerly of Pittsburgh, PA. The relatives and friends of Mr. Joseph N. Redondo are invited to attend his funeral services on Saturday , May 5,2012 at ten o'clock a.m. at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday , May 4, 2012 from five until seven o'clock p.m. at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Joseph was born October 10, 1921 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Nicholas Redondo and Michelina Buonapane Redondo. He had been a carpenter for many years having been employed in the Union 211 in Pittsburgh, PA. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Joseph was a veteran of WW II having served in the U.S. Marines Corps. as a staff sergeant attached to the Sea Bees. He had been a member of the American Legion Post # in Pittsburgh, PA. Joseph enjoyed working, gardening and he always enjoyed his cottage and his home which was his life in Zelienople, PA . He loved making his own wine and all his dogs! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ; Odyssey Hospice, 5965 Core Ave. ,N. Charleston, SC 29406. He is survived by : Joseph N. Redondo Jr. (Janet) of Summerville, SC , a daughter; Sandra R. Beilstein (Robert) of North Charleston, SC, and Ronald N. Redondo (Barbara) of North Charleston, SC ,sisters; Lucy Guarino and Congetta Mongellozzo (Jim) both of Pittsburgh, PA , 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
