Joseph "Tiger Joe" ROBINSON

Sensei Joe was my instructor from the age of 8 to 18 where we Trained out of the Vine street Dojo in Brighton, I have great memories of that time. Joe was a father figure to me and he shared the art of Wado Ryu . He shared so many stories of his life with us and he certainly had a full life, I only realised his passing as my daughter also started karate , Wado Ryu style at the Sama club and a Sensei there told me of Joe's passing. He will be missed by many , and my condolences go out to his family , including Polly,Joe's daughter who I personally knew.

Sensei Joe was my friend & teacher from the age of 14 when I joined his Judo club in Brighton, his Judo teaching has been passed down to my children & grand children. He was & still is a great part of my life & I will miss him very much. RIP my friend & Sensei.
