Joseph Santy Obituary

Joseph F. Santy Jr., 84, of Levittown, Pa., died Nov. 15, 2008, in Pennsylvania.
He was born in Southington, the son of the late Joseph F. and Ruby (Thomasino) Santy and was a graduate of Lewis High School in Southington. After serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, he moved to Pennsylvania and worked many years at the Boeing Company as an engineer, retiring in 1989.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Vilma (Costantini) Santy; two sons, Joseph F. Santy III, of Yardley, Pa., John Santy, of Levittown, Pa.; a daughter, Sharon Santy-Coon and her husband, Jim Coon, of Levittown, Pa.; four grandchildren, Julia Ann Santy, James Coon, Ashley Coon and Alexa Santy, all of Pennsylvania; a sister, Helen Berarducci, of Plainville; a brother, Francis and his wife, Carmel Santy, of Windsor; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral services were held in Pennsylvania. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
