Joseph Sincavage Obituary

Joseph P. Sincavage, 89, of Ashland, passed away April 7 at home.

Born in Connerton, Aug. 5, 1926, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anastasia Sincavage.

Joseph was an Army veteran. He worked as a miner for many years and later on construction for Garman Bros., Reading, until he retired.

He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Mooney Sincavage, in 2011; a son, Joseph, in 1977; a sister, Adele Schaffer.

Surviving are two daughters, Beverly Sincavage and Mimi Sincavage, both of Ashland; a sister, Jean Czerwinski, New York; two grandsons, Edward, Pottsville, and his caregiver, Michael Sincavage, Ashland; three great-grandchildren, Christopher, Edward Jr. and Fallon; three great-great-grandchildren, Adelia, Rowan and Dominick, all of Pottsville.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fountain Springs. The Rev. Robert Finlan will officiate. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, is in charge. Visit www.kullfuneral.com.

Fallon and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know the suffering well as my Gran passed yesterday. May they fly high with the angels and spread their love to those of us left here hurting. You are in my thoughts and prayers always.
