On Thursday, September 18, 2014, longtime resident of Moon Run, age 91. Husband of the late Mary Anna Skoff; father of Judith Schons, Susan (Robert) Lesnik, Dr. David M. (Linda Marie), Dr. Joseph J. (Kathleen) and Dr. Richard A. Skoff; grandfather of Christopher, Eric, Brent Schons, Courtney and Bobby Lesnik, Brandon, Brittany, Matthew, Michael, Mason and the late Morgan Skoff; son of the late James and Theresa Skoff; brother of Pauline Meehan, Sophia, James, John and the late George Skoff. Joseph graduated first honors from North Fayette High School and served in the Army during WWII as a S/SGT. with the 125th Chemical PROC CO. He also graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1950 with a B.S. in Science. Friends received Saturday 6-8 p.m. and Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at the JOSEPH M. SOMMA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5405 Steubenville Pike, Moon Run, Robinson Twp. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Malachy on Monday at 10 a.m. Memorials to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pgh., PA 15205.
