Joseph SLUSARCZYK

I am so sorry to hear about Joseph's passing. I have known Joseph since I started my post-graduate studies at the University of Waterloo, Chemical Engineering, in 1984. We both worked under Dr. Wynnyckyj. He was a brilliant engineer. I have many fond memories of that time. He accompanied on a trip to Red Lake, ON to assist me in setting up and conducting field research at the Griffith Mine. We also bought a house together in Waterloo to set up as a student boarding house. Whether at work or on a social level, he was always fun to be with. Whether we agreed on things or not, he had in incredible sense of humour and always found a way to laugh, even when things we worked together on didn't work out quite as planned. The last time we got together was in the summer of 2017, when he and Genevieve came to visit my wife Sue and I at our home in Plympton-Wyoming (near Sarnia). Our deepest condolences for his family.

I know Joseph from 2017, he was an energetic, talented, experienced, and very friendly coworker, he helped me a lot when I was asking him a question. I hope rest and happiness for him and condolence for his family.

Dla mnie, przyjaciel z lat studenckich, z którym mieszkaem w akademiku, w jednym pokoju. Tworzylimy duet, niezapomnianych kumpli. Póniej równie, po zawarciu zwizków maeskich utrzymywalimy kontakty. Praktycznie od 2000r. nie byo miesica ebymy z sob, nie rozmawiali telefonicznie. Przy Jego przejazdach do Polski, spdzalimy przyjemnie czas nad morzem w Mrzeynie oraz Mielnie. Gosciem Go równie z Rodzin, u mnie w Bydgoszczy. Po prostu /po ludzku, lubilimy si /. Ostatni raz bylimy razem w 2018r., na Balu Absolwentów Politechniki Koszaliskiej. czya nas mska przyja, po porostu mielimy podobne poczucie humoru, lubilimy z sob rozmawia, gdy wiele tematów postrzegalimy podobnie. Wiedziaem o Jego okrutnej chorobie, ale wiadomo o Jego odejciu, jest dla b. bolesna. Dzwoni jeszcze do mnie m-c temu i waciwie poegna si ze mn. egnaj przyjacielu, bdzie mi, Ciebie brakowao. Chwaa Twojej Pamici.
