Joe was truly one of God's most valued earthbound servants and a great disciple of Jesus Christ. I was lucky enough to meet Joe through my parents. Joe and my dad had a special friendship and thoroughly enjoyed their time together, especially when they were wood carving. Being a selfless person, Joe was always there when needed. Joe gave my mother her last rights and was the last person to be with her when she passed away in her bed at home. I am sure that she was aware of his presence in her last moments on this earth and realized it was ok to let go after hearing Joe's voice. We will all miss Joe, but if we follow HIS ways, we will SURELY see him again. Mom and Dad say hi to Joe for me.
God Bless you Jean
Love,

His handshake was as warm as his smile ~ always making the day brighter for all he served. No doubt our Lord is welcoming him home with "well done my faithful and loving servant" Prayers of comfort to his family and joyful memories!

The first time I met Joseph was at St. Patrick's in the capacity of a Deacon. But he was a man who wore many hats; husband, father and friend and he was awesome in all the hats he wore. It was a joy to be around him, he was so full of energy and life. I will always cherish the time we spent together the last few months in his life. He truly left his mark on this earth. Joe, you'll be missed.

Deacon Joe was a sweet, gentle, kind man. He loved the Lord and took his vocation as Deacon seriously. I broke my leg right before Christmas 2008. Attended Christmas Eve Midnight Mass. While waiting in church foyer with crutches, this sweet man gave me a hug, asked how I was and wished me a blessed Christmas. I've never forgotten his kindness. RIP Deacon Joe. Well done servant of God.
