REVEREND FATHER
JOSEPH ('Joe') STAUNTON

Priest of the Archdiocese of
Canberra and Goulburn
who retired from active ministry in 1990
as Parish Priest of the [former]
Parish of Farrer, ACT.

Died peacefully at Goulburn Base Hospital
Monday, 15 October 2012, aged 88.

Son of the late Tom and Brigid Staunton.


Brother of Maureen (Sr Enda), Tommy (dec),
Margaret, Colum (dec), Fr Jim,
Aidan (dec), Briena (dec) and Gerard.

Loved uncle and great-uncle
of his many nieces and nephews.

Vigil Gathering

St Brigid's Church, Bancroft St, Dickson
Thursday, 18 October 2012, 7.30pm.

Funeral Mass

St Christopher's Cathedral, Forrest
Friday, 19 October 2012, 10.30am.
Burial will follow at Woden Cemetery.

Archdiocesan Administrator, Monsignor John
Woods, and Clergy of the Archdiocese of
Canberra and Goulburn extend their deepest
sympathy to Father Joe's family.
