My condolences to the Strawbridge family. May God bring you peace and comfort. Some memories are more meaningful to some. As a child, I always thought it was a kind of Mr. Strawbridge to give me a lift to school. Yall didn't have to stop, but yall did. Teachable moments like this showed me that it only takes a moment to be kind. Thanks Tiffany for sharing your father with those who didn't have one. Peace be with you all. I could tell he was a great man who's loved by many.

My daddy was a true legend in all aspects of the word. He was an example of how to be a man, husband, father, son, brother, relative, and friend. He was like cream, always rising to the top of most things that he touched. He went through life with a perspective of the glass being half full. He was the most positive and supportive person that I have ever known. I will honor him by displaying in my life the essence of who my dad always showed himself to be, even up until his last breath. Although his life drastically changed over the years to being extremely active to being bedridden; his smiling face and positive spirit did not change. My dad adjusted to life and determine a new goal of what brought him joy. His new joy came simply from seeing the faces of his two favorite people, my mother (daily) and me (almost daily). He always made the best of his situation and would be the one to cheer you up and give you words of encouragement you when he was the one with the major life change. I am going to miss him dearly and I know that this pain with ease a bit with time. I look forward to seeing him when Jesus comes back for his believers. Until then, let us all reflect the love of Christ and leave a wonderful legacy love for our family and friends as my dad did. May his soul rest in peace.
