JOSEPH A. STROH III

Dear Stroh family and friends,I just heard last week that Joe passed away. I'm very sorry and sadden to hear that. Thank you very much Kim and Joe Butler for letting me know. Joe was a great guy and always will be. I've known Joe since 1980. Please God, bless the family and friends of this great man. Thank you Joe for so much.

Joe was a good friend of my dad, i too am sorry to hear of his passing. Joe was a "unique guy", as a very young kid I can remember he scared the hell outta of me at times. As I am older now I realize he lived his life the way he wanted - what more could anyone ask for.

Great friend always looked up to you with all the things we did together being with my mom Peggy Mahaven know you are in Heaven now Rest In Peace and God Bless dear friend

I was saddened to hear of Joe's passing, as I have many fond memories of him. He was a good friend to my Dad and family. He will be missed.

Now Joe knows there is a Heaven. And for sure he has a card game going on right now. For all who knew Joe it was our pleasure! Thanks for the memories.

My condolences go out to anybody that knew Joe. I got to know him later on after he was in semi-retirement and tending bar a few nights a week at Cousin's Bar in Millvale. He always had a good story or a joke and it was great to pick his brain about baseball. He was a straight shooter and really told it like it is. There is a great article about him on post-gazette's website from 2009 that I re-read this week. It brought back a lot of memories. He will be missed.

Beat em Bucs!!! So many memories. Joe taught me so much. I was so excited to be there for his birthday and have so many fond memories of him. From the RE to Little river Lodge. From George and Jim and me at the Pines to en err and err. I will always remember the great Joe Stroh.Now he is with Rabbits and Jumbo and George and all his friends. God Bless.
