JOSEPH TERSAK Obituary
Age 82, of Lawrenceville, peacefully, on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Beloved husband for 60 years to his wife, Millie; loving father of Barbara Hamilton, Joseph F. Tersak, Jr. and his wife, Judi, and Dr. Jean Marie Tersak; proud Pop-pop to his two grandsons, Joseph F. Tersak III and James Tersak; preceded in death by his mother, Anna Marie Tersak; and his brother, Stephen. Joe was a retired steel worker from Mackintosh-Hemphill. He enjoyed many years of retirement and spending time with friends at the Stephen Foster Center. Joe loved to celebrate life with family and to cherish each new day. He was a kind and gentle man who always made those around him smile. He will be missed and live in our hearts forever. We are grateful to Dr. Michael Finikiotis and the large team of caring subspecialists who helped him to have additional years with his family.Each day was a treasure. Family and friends received at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Friday 1-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Angels Parish, St. Augustine Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capuchin Province of St. Augustine, 220 37th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201 or the Stephen Foster Center, 286 Main Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201.
