Joseph A. "Drew" Travierso Jr.

To the memory of Coach T, a great coach and more important mentor for kids. Great memories as player under coach at LHS- cared about injured players, helped kids consider college paths, etc.- his heart showed in his coaching!

I still remember Mr. T as our gym teacher at the Varnum School in 1979. I have a great memory of us outside playing kickball with him during gym. He was our favorite. May God rest his soul.

I am so sorry for your loss please tell the boys I am praying for you all. If I can ever do anything for you please let me know.

Sorry to hear of this. Coach T had an impact on my life as my football coach and friend. I told my son who is involved with sports that Coach T defined what it meant to be a great coach. Rest easy Coach T. PHS '1992-1996'

Ann, so sorry to hear about the passing of Drew. I am so glad we had the opportunity to travel together to Italy in March. As your faith accompanied you both and brought Drew to be anointed and pray near the final resting place of St. Pio in San Giovanni Rotondo and to pray the Eucharist at the Cathedral of St. Andrew and near the remains of St. Peter we know that same faith will lead him into paradise. Please know of my prayers for you, your sons and family. I will remember Drew at Mass. God bless.

My heartfelt condolences to the Travierso family. Coach T was a great man who introduced me to a college and coach I eventually attended and played for. He saw an opportunity for me, and helped me achieve my goal of attending and playing college football. Thank you Coach T, you will be missed.

This was a man one can truly call great. He was humble, generous and kind. As a devoted husband to Anne and to his four boys, I witnessed a love I will always remember. Just being in his presence was a gift. Rest In Peace, dear Drew and may the angels welcome you to Heaven. Thank you for allowing me to get to know you.

I am very sorry for the loss of uncle drew. i wish me and my family had been able to see him in the last few years and i hope aunt anne and family are all doing well and will reach out to all of us during this hard time.
