He was my manager at a Quaker Oats-owned restaurant in Deptford, New Jersey, in 1979. I was only a crazy teenager then just graduating from high school. He was so much fun to work with. He had the most beautiful blue eyes, and his laugh was funny. I can't believe he is gone so young with so much more to do. I have many pictures from opening day to closing on the last day at Engine House Pizza Company. I even met my future husband working at Engine House.
It is so wonderful to hear about his sobriety and helping others.
I doubt he would have ever remembered me, but he was hoot!

Kim + family,
With heavy heart I read the news of your passing. Wow...called home far too soon, when we still wanted you on this side of the Earth. Cottage Kitchen was the best of what Florence/ Northampton has ever had to offer. Although we may have lost touch over the years, I am not surprised to hear that you re-invented yourself to be of service to others. You will be so sadly missed until we meet again. Heartfelt sympathy and prayers to the family you have left heartbroken without you. Godspeed, even though I know you don't need it.

Wish I could have been there for the remembrance. Lots of great memories of Tuit, from the 60's on - one of the best! The obit nailed it, he knew how to live life and enjoy the good things - family and friends. And the most infectious laugh ever! RIP my friend.
