Dear Joe, Jann, Jeri and family,
We will miss your father so very much. We came to know him at Kingswood United Methodist Church in Clovis, where my husband led music and I played organ and piano. We connected right away because of our shared love of aviation (my Dad was a Navy P-3 pilot). My parents met your Dad and, of course, they hit it off, too. We shared many meals with your Dad at Dakota's and shared many church services together. We loaned him lots and lots of military aviation movies, and learned of his, "The Hunters," which we purchased and loved. We will miss him, and his intense love of his children and wife. He talked of his wife so much - as he did of you - and was ready to be reunited with her. He fought a long, hard battle, and was a strong yet gentle man. He was a dear, dear friend, and we really miss him.
We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
