My deepest sympathy goes out to Joes family! I'm so so sorry for your loss. Joe was one of a kind! Gentle, rough around the edges, epitome of Oconto in the flesh. He was always so happy, and is and will always will be in my heart. Joe was a great man, who was loved by so many. Rest in peace dearest friend, and soar high with the angels. Until we meet again.

Oh Joe as far back as I can remember of my time in Oconto you were apart of it. I can hear your laugh ya know it sure was one of a kind. If we needed to find you all we had to do was look down the river... You sure did watch me cause a ruckus would you laugh through the whole time. I have not thought about those days in so long, but those days are really what I should think about more often! You will be missed ole friend Say Hi to all the ones who've made it up there before you... I'll see ya when I get there

Joey, in case you're in heaven reading this:
I have so many great memories of you. All the times you were my neighbor in our small town. The walks and fishing.
Our trips in the diplomat, remembering the hole in the passenger floor. The fleet you had was a topic of discussion, always.

My favorite was watching you completely tear down a Winnebago. Right down to the frame, a bucket for the drivers seat. All from the comfort of my living room couch.
You will be missed by many, especially here. We'll be sure to keep your memory alive for your nephew. John always talks about his cool uncle Joey. <3
Fly high, my good friend. Until next time.
