I taught in the same school with Joe. He always had a positive attitude and a smile on his face.

Mr. Wasserman was truly one of the greats, my favorite teacher. I haven't seen him for over 30 years, but often thought of him and the life lessons he imparted to my 10-year-old self. It hurts to realize that his unique spirit is gone from this world and I know that those closest to him must be deeply feeling his loss. I pray that they are comforted with fond memories of a life well lived and the knowledge of the lasting impact he made on his students.

Mr. Wasserman was my teacher at school #7 in the early 70's. Great teacher, I will always remember him playing stick ball with us kids on the school grounds.
