It was always exciting when Uncle Joe visited us in Michigan, because he often brought his telescope. I remember seeing Saturn and Jupiter up close for the first time through his homemade telescope.

It is the dippest feeling that i wish u all to receive peace, strenght and corouge during thise time of sorrow. I had the oportunity to meet Joseph and i can say that he was a brilliant man and i really enjoyed his passion for the sky. Rest in peace because you are now in the presence of the Lord. Que Dios los bendiga hoy y siempre.......... Sincerely Carlos Collazo

Sorry to hear of Joe's passing. As cousins of the same age, we spent many wonderful hours playing together. I'll always remember my visits to "the little farm" in Arlington Heights.

So very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He must have fought hard to beat his illness. I have often wondered how he was doing all these years since he went back to the VA for treatment. My prayers are with you.

Joe was a great brother. I didn't get to see him often but we kept in touch via the phone. His telescope was mentioned, he loved to view the stars and planets. When Rosemary and Joe first started dating, I use to kid " When Joe took Rosemary out to look at the moon, they really looked at the moon." Rosemary Weiland Bailey
