JOSEPH ZAPF Obituary
On Sunday, November 28, 2010, Mr. Zapf, age 79, Coraopolis, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. Son of the late Joseph Zapf Sr. and Mae (Hayes) Zapf; beloved husband of Mary Jane (DiCicco) Zapf; loving father of Lori (Rich) Heller, of Robinson Twp.; loving grandfather of Zach, Luke and Andrew Heller; brother of Rita (George) Scholz of Stowe Twp. Mr. Zapf was retired from Fisher Control as a Senior Planner. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Coraopolis VFW. He was a member of the Senior Bowling League, of McKees Rocks and loved to play baseball and softball. He was an avid sports fan, particularly his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, and anything his grandsons played. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Friends received Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in ANTHONY J. SANVITO, INC., FUNERAL HOME, 1316 Fourth Ave., Coraopolis. Prayers in Funeral Home, Thursday 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial St. Joseph Church, 10 a.m.

Mary Jane and Lori,
Joe was a wonderful person. He was kind, considerate and funny. He is going to be missed by many.
