DEAR GAYNELL, JANE AND YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY,

I WAS BACK IN NEW ORLEANS TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL OF MY SISTER JOEY'S HUSBAND, CARL. LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT WOULD LEAD MY MOTHER AND ME TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND SERVICES FOR YOUR LOVELY MOTHER. SEEING YOU FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION... WELL, IT SEEMED LIKE JUST YESTERDAY. MY MEMORIES, LIKE PAM & SONNY'S, GRAVITATED TO THE PARTIES AT YOUR HOUSE. YOUR MOTHER WAS A FORCE OF LIFE, A CREATIVE LADY WHO HELPED US ALL ENJOY LIFE WITH ENTHUSIASM. WHAT A WONDERFUL LEGACY.

WITH ALOHA,

Gaynell - Our thoughts and best wishes to you and your family at this time. I remember your mom from forty years ago and the parties at your house in Lakeview. My 92 year old mother now lives here in Denver since the storm. So sorry they had to see that at the end of their lives. Love
