Josephine Froehlich Obituary
Jo was born August 1, 1932 to the late John Marino and Francis Caruso Marino. She is preceded in death by her late husband, and long time Sonora resident, Vernon Thomas Froehlich and her grandson Chad Froehlich.
She is survived by her four children, Deacon John (Helen) Froehlich of Knob Lick, KY, Mary Anne (Michelle) Froehlich of Medford, OR, Michael (Dorea) Froehlich of Sonora, CA, and Paul (Christy) Froehlich of Park City, UT;
her grandchildren Jennifer (Dale) Adkins, Tony (Cameron), Faith, Josie, Christian, and Audrey Froehlich.;
her great grandchildren, Kimberly Adkins, Megan (Morgan) McCord, and Maddie Froehlich; and
her great- great-grandson, Jenson McCord.
Services will be held 10 am, April 15, 2023 at Christ the Healer Catholic Church, in Edmonton, KY.
Jo will be interred next to her beloved Vern, under the olive tree in the Saint Patrick's Catholic Cemetery on Bald Mountain Road in Sonora, at a future date to be determined.

Jo Fröhlich was a good friend to many. She was well known In in the local YLI and served as a Grand Director of YLI Grand Institute. She was a devoted mother and member of other Sonora organizations as well. May she now Rest in Peace with her late husband, Vern.

Offering my heartfelt condolences to the Froehlich family. I did not know Jo, but since I am quite fond of her grandson, Tony, I´m certain we would have liked each other. And, as a fellow Leo, we probably had a few things in common. I rejoice in Jo´s long and beneficial life that offered such love, joy, and kinship to many people including my good friend, Tony. May she rest in peace.

I saw John's mothers Obituary in the Sonora newspaper. My condolences to you and Helen and family. I recognized the last name, surprisingly I am living in Sonora, CA for the past 10 years. I am so sorry to read of Josephine's passing. I knew she & her dear husband as members of St. Patrick's Church in Sonora where they were very active members.
