Dear Kathy & family, I had heard from IFOPA sources that your mom had dementia and you had moved her to Seattle. She was a fighter, indeed, and a fierce advocate for Margy and so many others with disabilities. I'm so sorry for the dementia, and for your final loss. --Marilyn Hair, mom of Sarah Steele (1989-2017) who, like Margy, had FOP.

Dear Lisa and Kathy,
I am glad that I called on June 6th, always unforgettable date for Jo and the beginning of the end of WWII in Europe.
Your mother was special as a friend both at Hollins, where both of us played, Jo piano, I organ.
Forty years later (because I had kept a large book of students´ information that Hollins published), arriving in Chicago, I called her and we got together for lunch at the Art Institute, both of us doing our "thing," always to improve whatever it was.
