My sincere condolences to you and your family on the loss of your dear sister. I only knew "Sister Paj" from the periphery of her life both inside and outside the convent, but she was always friendly, welcoming, full of fun, and strong in every way. Many years ago, she was incredibly supportive when I was facing a health scare and surgery. I have never forgotten her, nor the strength and courage she gave me at that time. Along with the congregation at St. Patrick's, I have prayed for Josie often over the last couple of years when I knew she was ill. I only hope the knowledge of our prayers helped her through her courageous battle to her well-deserved reward. Josie was very special and I only wish I could have known her better.

My deepest sympathy to all of us who mourn the death of Josie or Padge as we used to call her. As a sister of the Congregation of Notre Dame I have known Josie for over 40 years. I shall miss her incredible generosity to all who needed her but especially to Refuge Juan Moreno, an emergency shelter for women and children who are refugee claimants. God bless,

My condolences to Tony and his family.
I will never forget Sister Paj (as she was lovingly known at James Lyng High School) she was a great inspiration to me. Besides teaching me biology at JLHS, she taught me to be strong and to pursue my dreams.
She had a strong character and an even bigger heart. I have been privileged to have known her. I am eternally grateful to her
Rest in peace dear friend.

As a former Montrealer myself and as a CND, Josie is a person long connected to me. So many memories came to me as I heard of her death.
I wish to offer my sympathy to her family and dear friends ... she had many. A woman filled with energy and life. Thanks, Josie, for your big, generous and compassionate heart.

Josie and I met in New York City while she was completing her graduate studies at Fordham University. Our friendship grew over the years and I am blessed for having been touched by such a wonderful person. Often she spoke of her brother, Tony, and the bond that existed between them. I offer my deepest condolences to Tony and the family. The joy and light she shared with so many in NYC is an everlasting gift.

Sincerest condolences to the Pajaczkowski family. My fondest memories of Sister Pajaczkowski are when I was a student at Thomas D'Arcy McGee Girls High School (1967 to 71). She frequently was the lunchroom monitor, and was often one of the chaperones for the sock hops.

May God keep her safe in His arms and grant her everlasting peace.

Sister Pajaczkowski taught me at D'Arcy McGee. She was a formidable figure and she had great presence. She was a great teacher. She took me under her wing and taught me about life too.

I met several times after I graduated. The memory of her will always stay with me.

Well that last time I saw you was this past May at Fr. McCrory's 50th Celebration. You looked fantastic and younger than ever.
Unfortunately, we all knew that awful C word was running you out of time.
I will always be greatful for your freindship and know you are watching over us and making sure we keep in line or you will give us lines to write out.
My hearfelt sympathies to your family and friends.

I will always remember Josie as a kind, strong, and spiritual person who gave courage to the weak, and encouragement to the enterprising people of all walks of life. I can say that she did a lot of good to so many people in her life, with that very human touch that was her unique way of loving others.
