Josephine Tusa Riccobono

My prayers are with all the Riccobono family at this sad time. My late husband Francis and I had the pleasure of working for Miss Josie and Mr. Joe at the Peppermill and Buck 49 Steak Houses for many years. You were wonderful bosses and I enjoyed watching the Riccobono children grow up. Rest in peace, Miss Josie.

Clarita, Vincent, & the Riccobono Family, your mother was a gift in a weary and troubled world, and she will be missed. Her ability to connect with those she met was so rare and genuine, and she always made one feel as though they were important and in some way special. My sincere sympathy to all of you, and to all who knew her as this is a sadder world without her. May God bless her & take care of you all by helping you cherish you precious memories.

We were so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I only met her one time with Mother and Jill. You could tell she lived her life with a spirit of joy. I know she will be missed. Our prayers are with you and your family.

I know Frank and his brothers are sad at their loss of a sister. She is in eternal rest now and at peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the Tusa family as well.

Cousin Josie was a wonderful person with a beautiful spirit. I remember her well as a person who knew the true meaning of the word family. Her unconditional love will be missed by all who knew her. My heart goes out to the entire family. God bless.

Perhaps stars are truly not stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.

I am so sorry for the tremendous loss to the family. As a former employee of Miss Josie's, I will always remember her kind words and wonderful sense of humor. It was truly an honor knowing this wonderful lady.

Nettie...your Mother was a wonderful woman...I know you will miss her...I told Frank one time that your Mother made the world a better place...She will be missed.

Mrs. Riccobono had a heart that was larger than life and overflowing with love for her family, her culture, her cuisine, her special children at St. Michael's, her friends, and her faith. She left us all an amazing example of how to always look at life through the lens of virtue. Althought we all feel the tremendous loss of a truely gallant woman, we rejoice in her attaining her well-deserved glory in reunion with the risen Christ and her courageous husband. We have all been blessed by her spirit and will continue to be blessed by her grace which continues on beyond her mortality to live on through all of us who have been so fortunate to know her. God has blessed us all through His gift in the life of Mrs. Riccobono.

You were probably one of the nicest people that God ever sent into my life....I know that you are in Heaven and will look down on your family and friends with all the love you have shown throughout the years....we have all been privledged to know such a great lady.
