Josephine Olive Skinner Williams GEORGETOWN-Josephine Olive Skinner Williams, 79, a beloved mother and the wife of Winston Levoy Williams, went home to be with the Lord and join her waiting loved ones on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Williams was born the daughter of Joseph Skinner and Olive Bullard Skinner on March 3, 1932 in the Choppee community. She was educated in the Pleasant Hill High School and was a faithful 60+ years member of the Rose Hill Baptist Church. Her Legacy of Love will be a master guideline to teach her family the excellence of motherhood. Winston and Josephine were married September 20, 1947 and celebrated 64 years together: From their blessed union was born: four children, Joey Winston Williams, Elaine Williams, Ginger (Danny) Wheeler, and Tommie Ann (Eugene) Player; seven grandchildren, Robin (Kenny) Hilburn, Pam (Buddy) Blanton, Clifford L. (Brenda) Cribb, Jody (Cheryl) Wheeler, Devin (Perry) Smith, Chad Wheeler, and Tabitha Tilton; and ten great grandchildren, Benji, Dustin, Brooke, Summer, Ethan, Ranesley, Keelie, Emilie, Ambry, and Bryson. She joins her waiting loved ones including: her parents; her son, Joey; and her brother, Tommy Skinner. A Home Going Celebration will be 4 PM, Friday, May 20, 2011, in the Rose Hill Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery directed by the Hemingway Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8, Thursday evening, May 19, 2011, in the Rose Hill Baptist Church sanctuary. Memorials may be sent to the Rose Hill Baptist Church.
