Hey Nina its your favorite Godson... Just reminiscing about all the good times I spent with you and nino and for giving me a brother named woo woo that i always wanted. It was fun this year spending time with you eating taco casa and in n out burger throughout the week and you getting to know my wife and son while he played with all the grandkids just talking and laughing and enjoying life like family should. Thank you for making me feel like family always and we rejoice that you finally found your way home. We love you very much Nina. Here's a throwback picture of the good ol' days. Enjoy....

I am so sad to read of Josette's passing. She was truly a remarkable and beautiful person inside and out. I had the pleasure of working with her at Sanger-Harris. She helped me with many things and was always so kind and patient with me. My deepest sympathies for the entire Avina family for your loss. Rest in peace, Josette.

Josette had the most beautiful spirit, my thoughts and prayers to her family and friends, she was a wonderful lady.

I am honored to have been able to call Josette a friend, and am deeply saddened by news of her passing. The warmth, joy and grace that Josette seemed to always bring to everyone and every gathering was a genuine reflection of those same virtues that filled her heart and soul.

Richard and family, please accept my deepest sympathy and prayers. Though I am unable to be there for the Mass on Tuesday, I was privileged to offer a Mass for the happy and eternal repose of Josette's soul on the very day she died. May your faith in God continue to be your strength, your hope, and your consolation until you are all reunited and every tear will be wiped away.

I met Josette when I started work at Sanger Harris. I learned a lot from her over the years and enjoyed her smile and personality, particularly at inventory time. I'm sure there were times when she wanted to strangle us, but she never did.

Josette was joyful and optimistic, always smiling! She was an inspiration to folks around her. I was blessed to have three of her children in 7th Grade CCD at St. Patrick Cathedral.
